Dr. Sandra Drago is a very well known Senior Consultant Physician and Internal Medicine Specialist with over 30 years of medical experience. She began her career at the renowned B.Y.L Nair Hospital in Mumbai, where she received extensive training in internal medicine and excelled in patient care and medical education. After serving for 15 years and attaining the position of Associate Professor in Medicine, she transitioned to private practice to establish Dr. Drago’s Lifeline Health Hospital in Mira Road, where she now serves as the Director, continuing her commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare to people from all walks of life.
Dr. Drago specializes in a range of medicines, including general medicine, diabetes management, clinical cardiology, heart health, and asthma treatment. Her expertise in diabetes care allows her to create individualized management plans that address both immediate and long-term patient needs. In her role as a Clinical Cardiologist, she provides comprehensive care for cardiovascular conditions, with a strong emphasis on accurate ECG interpretation and timely interventions. Her extensive experience in treating asthma and respiratory issues ensures that patients receive well-rounded, personalized care aimed at improving their overall quality of life.
Throughout her career, Dr. Drago has maintained a dedication to professional growth and community involvement. She is an active member of esteemed medical associations such as JAPI, the Indian Society of Critical Care (ISCC), and St. Luke's Catholic Medical Association. Her leadership roles extend to committee involvement with the Mira Road Medical Practitioner Association and the Indian Medical Association, Mira Bhayandar.
Additionally, Dr. Drago is also focussed on Social Commitments taking social initiatives, organizing medical camps and actively serving in community health efforts to promote well-being. She is a member of the health call of St. Joseph Church, Mira Road, where she conducts medical camps. She also serves as the Chairman of Green Meadows CHS, supporting and serving the needs of the members, and is the Secretary of Indrayani CHS in Mira Road. Her social commitments reflect her dedication to making a positive impact beyond the clinic.
